Front Office Coordinator
Job Description Manage and optimize the daily patient schedule, ensuring efficient appointment flow and minimizing wait times.
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, handling inquiries, check-in, and check-out procedures with professionalism and warmth.
Coordinate all financial arrangements, including verifying insurance benefits, processing claims, and collecting patient payments.
Oversee and maintain accurate patient records, adhering to HIPAA and practice confidentiality guidelines.
Facilitate effective communication between the administrative team, clinical staff, and management.
Manage inventory for office supplies and materials.
Utilize dental software (e.g., Dentrix) for treatment planning presentation and financial tracking.
Assist in training new administrative staff members as needed.
part-time $32 - $35 per hour

Shift & Schedule Monday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, then 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, then 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, then 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, then 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Friday: Closed
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a dental front office or administrative role.
Demonstrated expertise in managing patient scheduling and treatment planning coordination.
Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and claims processing.
Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix).
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional patient service.
Previous experience in a supervisory or management capacity within a dental or medical setting.
Knowledge of advanced dental terminology and procedures (General Practice).
Experience implementing or improving office protocols and workflows.
