Sallie Tiernan Field House & Gym
The Sallie Tiernan Field House is a state-of-the-art 24,000-square-foot facility with an aerobics studio, cardio machine room, weight room, and other spaces for fitness and health education. In addition to the fitness facility, the Field House also includes a 25-meter swimming pool and Alumnae Field for use by students, faculty and staff.
Scripps College alumnae living in the Claremont area are eligible to purchase a membership and are asked to present a picture identification and alumnae verification from the Alumnae Office at the time of enrollment. Alumnae visiting the college may secure a free guest pass from the Alumnae Relations Office for use during the time they are on campus. Alumnae are also eligible to purchase a one day pass for their guest.
Honnold Mudd Library
Honnold/Mudd Library holds collections in the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. The Library Café and Connection, which houses the Copy Center and the Claremont Card Center, are found in Honnold/Mudd Library. The CUC Records Center houses most of the paper journals and a small percentage of books from the library collections. Alumnae of The Claremont Colleges may request an alumnae library card at the Honnold/Mudd Services Desk.

Special Collections at the Claremont Colleges
Honnold/Mudd Library Special Collections and Denison Library at Scripps College welcome all researchers to use our collections. Researchers are required to create an Aeon account in order to make requests to consult materials from the collections or to request digital copies or photocopies of materials. Once you have established an account, you may make requests via request links in the Library Search (“Request HON SPCL”). the Claremont Colleges Digital Library (CCDL) (“Aeon Request”), and the Online Archive of California (OAC) (“Request Items”), as well as directly in your Aeon account.
On-Campus Venue Rentals
Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Scripps College’s 32-acre campus is widely recognized as one of America’s most beautiful college campuses. Through the Office of Public Events and Community Programs, the College makes available several of its campus structures and outdoor spaces to the College community and the public.
