Architect / Architectural Designer – 2–5 Years Experience

We are seeking a talented Architect / Architectural Designer with 2–5 years of professional experience to join a prominent New York City architecture practice. This is an immediate hiring need , and the firm is looking to move quickly for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have well-rounded architectural experience and will have contributed to projects through multiple phases of design and documentation, including Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CDs) . Candidates should have experience working on mid- to large-scale new construction projects and be comfortable contributing to complex project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Strong BIM/Revit experience is essential for this position. Candidates must be proficient in Revit and comfortable using it as a primary production and documentation tool throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects through Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents
• Produce and develop architectural drawings and documentation in Revit
• Assist with the development of design concepts into coordinated and technically sound drawing sets
• Work on mid- to large-scale new construction projects
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, façade, and other consultants
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and other project documentation
• Participate in internal design and technical coordination meetings
• Work closely with Project Architects, Project Managers, and senior design leadership
• Help maintain accurate and coordinated BIM/Revit models throughout the project lifecycle
• Support project teams in meeting demanding schedules and project deadlines

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional architecture experience
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Demonstrated experience working through SD, DD, and CD phases
• Experience with mid- to large-scale new construction projects strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Revit is required
• Strong understanding of BIM-based project delivery and documentation
• Ability to produce high-quality architectural drawings and coordinated construction documents in Revit
• Good understanding of architectural detailing, building systems, and consultant coordination
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative project team
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities
